New Features and Enhancements

A major area of development involved lead management. You can now track your leads and sales activities to help you increase your conversion rates. The new lead management tool has the following features and reports.

 

·      A Sales Stage field has been added to the borrower and contact screens. This allows you to track where prospects are in your sales cycle.

·      A Log Call feature  allows you to log inbound and outbound calls. You can track how much telephone time you spend with prospects as well as the result of each call.

·      A new Forecast screen allows you to predict your sales.

·      Lead Management Report – summarizes all sales activity, such as calls, emails, letters, sales cycle and conversion rate.

·      Lead Detail Report – Shows all sales activity by lead, such as calls, emails, interviews conducted, tasks and appointments.

·      Lead Stage and Call Report – Shows the leads by sales stage and call results.

·      Forecast Report – Shows all leads on your forecast, including confidence level, sale value, notes and telephone number for follow up.

 

Outlook Interface: When refreshing Outlook tasks, appointments and email, you can now press Q to quit.

You can now create a borrower record from a contact record and vice versa. You can create a contact record from a borrower record.

LoanSoft Interface: You can now map users to Mortgage Quest multi-user version.

When selecting or creating files using various Mortgage Quest features, the program selects your My Documents folder by default.

Campaign Report now shows everyone in a campaign and their current letter due to print. It is also sorted by loan officer for multi-user versions.

Lookup by SSN only looks at the last 4 numbers.

A new sales stage field has been added to the borrowers and contacts screen. You can query this field and also create automatic events for campaigns and task activities.

Exporting data requires system admin privileges in the multi-user versions.

Calyx Point and Encompass Interface: Mortgage Quest ARM and Balloon Adjustment dates are created automatically from imported fields.

New Reports: Lead Management, Lead Detail, Lead Stage and Call Report.

Reset Birthday. Tools/Option/Events/ Reset Birthday Events. When birthdays pass and you have not reset them, they no longer show up in the events monitor. This feature finds all past due birthdays and will make them current for the year.

Look Up / Phone Numbers / Search All Numbers. Enter one number and all phone number fields are searched.

Modify Lists. When you rename an item in a list, Mortgage Quest finds all occurrences of the old value and replaces it with the new one.

Modify Lists – Custom field list data can now be edited using the Tools / Modify Lists feature.

You now need system admin privileges to modify custom and special interest field labels for multi-user versions.

Encompass Interface: If you enter John B. in the first name field because Encompass doesn’t have a middle initial field, Mortgage Quest will parse the first name and middle initial.

Encompass Interface: Current loan status is imported, such as denied, cancelled, etc. This allows Mortgage Quest to ignore these files or automatically remove them from the Loan Cycle.

Outlook Interface: Tools / Options / Outlook tab. New Automatic Create Option. When this option is marked, Mortgage Quest automatically creates an Outlook contact record when you add a borrower or contact. If it is unmarked, you must use the Send to Microsoft Outlook command manually for each record.

When sending email using the Mortgage Quest email editor, the name at the bottom of the email includes the middle initial.

Outlook Interface: When importing Mortgage Quest contacts, the group field will be set the first Outlook category listed.

For multi-user versions, if the password field is empty, it will contain the phrase: “(None) Click OK.”

Tools / Options / Email – New option called Don’t Save Email. When this option is marked, Mortgage Quest will not save viewable copies of e-mails sent. Mortgage Quest still keeps track of the title of the email, but not the actual text for later viewing. Mortgage Quest exits quicker and hard disk space is conserved when this option is marked.
